Home winter garden is an area of relaxation and interior decoration. Your home oasis should be felt healthy, thus you have to take care of its lighting, heating, ventilation and watering.

It may seem that a country house is surrounded by nature, but the green landscape outside the window turns into a black-and-white picture when winter comes. Then a winter garden becomes the best and harmless antidepressant.

The first thing you have to take care about is the choice of the right place. Winter garden can be placed in a separate building. You can build a special greenhouse for it, or allocate a separate space for it in the house. In any case, your winter garden needs much light.

If the space allows you, you can create a large garden resembling a lush tropical forest. If your garden area is pretty small, you can focus on the plants you like and create small impressive compositions with their help.

Take care about your winter garden heating and ventilation systems. Work out the system of watering your plants. When you pick the plants for your winter garden ask for an advice from a professional designer and a florist. Most of specialists will recommend you to pay attention at citrus plants.

Azaleas and rhododendrons can bloom through the whole year. Monstera, vines and aloe, cactus plants are still popular. These plants need temperature +15 C and over. Choosing plants for your winter garden, pick shade-tolerant tradescantia and ivy. The perfect choice for your winter garden interior will become fountains, aquariums, Alpine gardens, natural stones, stained glass and even a small sculpture.
