The conversion of your attic into a beautiful and friendly duplex requires a creative approach and rational planning. Scandinavian designers managed to do it. The result is a wonderful apartment in the center of Stockholm.

Designers managed to combine traditional Scandinavian elegance and modern aesthetics in the area of 117 square meters. Glass floor has become the main unique feature. It is used as a living room and hallway and lets sunlight come to the lower level.

The whole apartment is decorated in white color scheme. This is a bold and unusual choice. Due to a neutral background color the designed interior is taken as one whole. The home areas are not separated visually. They “stream” one into another.

Stylish kitchen with elegant white wooden shelves and countertops is located on the lower level. Dining room matching the kitchen, a small home office and bedroom with a bathroom are also placed there.

Modern floating staircase is also white. It leads to the upper level. There are a sitting area and a second bedroom there. A splendid views of Stockholm are seen through the window.

Traditional elements of Scandinavian style are seen in the interior of this unique housing. Contemporary minimalism helps to create a relaxing atmosphere. Warm wooden floors, beamed ceilings add individuality to the housing, and glass gives it a beautiful charm.

However, you can stay away from such a grand reconstruction. It will be enough to arrange an additional living room on the attic.
