Gradually, the interior design, even steadily trying to follow futuristic minimalism, more and more appreciate the natural wood surface, whether it is whole pieces of furniture or small decorative things.

Due to urbanization a lot of people desire to bring a bit of nature into the home – a genuine, real, warm nature. The ideal output is wood that can fit in almost any interior without any difficulty.

In the photos you can see how this material is used in decorating surfaces – floor, ceiling, walls, stair steps, furniture fronts. In addition, such things as woodeen baskets, wooden tables and chairs, shelves and bedside tables can safely be attributed to this eco-trend in the interior.

There are two ways to use solid wood in the house to cover it with colorless oil or varnish or paint. In the first embodiment, the wood practically does not change its color, often only reveals the texture and darkens slightly with time. This option is perfect for interiors with history – classic and traditional, located in an old building, or for a clean modern minimalism.

The second option, with painting, can be used in any room, adjusting the material using color to fit your needs. Bright wooden furniture looks good in retro style, natural shades – rustic interior.

It is understood that, in fact, only wood gives the house a really cozy atmosphere. Better to use only soft textiles to add a feeling of relaxation and tranquility.

Note that despite the multi-millennial tradition of using wood in the interior, it ceases to be not for poor ones. Now natural solid wood furniture is valued even more than its heavy-duty and artificial counterparts.
