Modern table lamps miraculously combine the capabilities of lighting workplace, living room, and bedroom and can embody unusual designers’ solutions. From a purely functional item they have long ago transformed into an integral part of the design of the room, and in some cases – into a work of art, which is able to emphasize a good taste and personality of the home owner.

Perhaps the most famous Spanish designer specializing in creative, innovative lighting – Arturo Alvarez has created an amazing lamp Bety, which can be used as table or floor lamp for living room and bedroom. The lamp is made of metal and plastic, but particularly light gives it a special form, resembling the spread wings of a bird.

A lamp in the form of a nuclear explosion from Italian designer Luca Veneri can be called as one of the most unusual models of table lamps. For its development, the author used a three-dimensional image of the first seconds of a nuclear reaction that occurs when the rupture of the hydrogen bomb. Nuke Lamp – it is awesomely beautiful and thought-provoking work of design art.

In 1932 by the legendary Parisian designer Pietro Chiesa, who made one of the most famous table lamps in the twentieth century, that still inspire the imagination of lovers of the unusual designs. Her name is Mano (from the Italian: “hand”) – speaks for itself, because in the center of the composition there is a human arm made of metal, which supports the stem of the lamp.

Unusual “liquid” lamps created by Japanese designer Kouichi Okamoto (Kouichi Okamoto) for Kyouei Design Studio will be a bright accent in any modern interior. The lamp is made of steel, but despite this, when you look at it, it may seem that the structure is made of thin glass.
